Insecta Vol. 1 (digital)

53 insect graphics cut from 17th-century etchings: beetles, moths, butterflies, caterpillars, bees, a wasp, a dragonfly, a grasshopper and a snail.

Every graphic is a transparent PNG, 6000 px on the long side, in two inks:

• Black ink, for light backgrounds.
• Cream ink, for dark backgrounds.

That's 106 files in one download. Big enough for posters, covers and full T-shirt prints.

Recolour them, stack them, crop in close: the etched line holds up at full size.

Works in Photoshop, Affinity, Procreate, Figma, Canva and any app that opens PNG.

Cut out and cleaned up by 11PT from etchings by Wenceslaus Hollar (1645-1646), now in The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The original prints are public domain.

License: personal and commercial use in your own designs. You can't resell or share the graphics as they are. Full terms are in LICENSE.txt in the download.
